Prove it (my new favorite response to AI doomers)

I've been doing deep research on 2026 trends.

And honestly? I'm getting excited.

Not in an "AI will save us all" hype way. More like... I'm seeing a pattern I've lived through before, and I know what comes next.

The full cycle of emotions

Look, I get it. We've all gone through the emotional roller coaster.

AI is going to disrupt everything. Put people out of work. Universal basic income. The whole doom spiral.

Maybe that's true. Probably some version of it is.

But here's what I keep coming back to: the next two years are going to be a lot of fun.

Because my response to all the doom predictions? Prove it.

And while the world is busy proving it one way or another, there's going to be a massive opportunity for you to create.

What the research is actually showing

The new opportunities (jobs and freelance) that are coming... they're going to be forged in the next 24 months.

Not all of them will be obvious. Some will be based on technology that doesn't exist yet. Some will just be getting companies to actually adopt the stuff that's already here.

But a lot of it? A lot of it will be managing the change itself.

Being the change agent. The one who understands what's happening and can guide others through it.

That's where the money is.

This isn't new (and that's the point)

Here's the thing that makes me smile: this isn't different from any other technology shift.

I was in my early twenties when websites became prominent. People would pay me to make them. They found the budget. They needed a website to look like a legitimate business.

Being the person who understood the technology made me an authority really fast.

That's sort of how I became an entrepreneur in the first place. People trusted me beyond my experience level because I was a couple of steps ahead.

That's what's happening with AI right now.

The people who've been using these tools for not very long but are a few steps ahead? Those are the change agents. Those are the ones selling products, adding new services, and launching micro-SaaS companies.

That's the next two years.

Where I'm headed with this
