"Vibe coding" our way to better web pages

I've been thinking about authenticity lately.

Not the buzzword kind. The real kind.

For months, Mercer and I have been experimenting with reviving our YouTube channel. Trying different formats. Me on camera. Live demos. Traditional podcast setups.

Nothing felt right.

Then we had a simple realization: Why don't we just solve the problems we desperately need to solve for our own business and record it live?

Instead of creating content about hypothetical scenarios, why not build in public? Work through real challenges we're facing in our business and let people watch the process unfold.

So that's exactly what we did.

Our first episode was us "vibe coding" our way through creating new web pages for our site. And by vibe coding, I mean we used a free AI tool to design, write copy, and build functional pages that are now live on our website.

No designers. No WordPress experts. No endless revisions.

Just us, chatting with AI, solving a real problem we'd been putting off for months.

The result? Pages that actually convert. And a process you can replicate for your own business.

Here's what made this approach work:

It's genuinely authentic. These aren't manufactured problems or fake scenarios. These are real challenges we needed to solve anyway.

It forces us to polish our work. Knowing we're going to show something publicly pushes us to make it better than we would for internal use only.

It keeps us aligned. Working remotely and only seeing each other quarterly, this gives us regular touchpoints to stay on the same page.

The breakthrough happened when we stopped trying to be perfect content creators and started being real business owners, solving real problems.

That got us unstuck and moving in a direction we actually love.
