Your team's using AI. Are you protecting what matters?

Why I'm betting on Gemini

I've been thinking about something that happened in a team meeting last week.

We were discussing which AI tools everyone should use for different tasks. ChatGPT for images, Claude for writing, different models for different jobs.

Then someone asked: "But what should be our company standard?"

It was an easy answer to give…

For everything that matters to your business - use Gemini.

Not because it's the flashiest. Not because it writes the prettiest copy or creates the most stunning images.

Look, I'm all for using the best tool for each job. Want beautiful images? Use ChatGPT. Need killer copy? Claude's your friend. But when you're talking strategy, when you're processing sensitive company information, when you're having the conversations that actually move your business forward?

Gemini tied to your Google Workspace is non-negotiable.

Here's why this matters more than you think.

Your team is already using AI (even if it’s their free personal accounts). The question isn't whether they should - it's whether you're keeping what matters private while they do it.

With Gemini in your Google ecosystem, you get something precious: certainty. Certainty that your company's strategic thinking isn't training someone else's model. Certainty that sensitive information stays where it belongs.

And here's my confession.

This became my biggest time-saver of 2025.

I used to tuck strategy work away until I had time. Which meant it rarely happened. The company would slow down waiting for me to find space to think through the big picture stuff.

Now? I finish a meeting, open Gemini, and spend 3 minutes talking through what just happened.

It creates strategy frameworks that used to take me weeks to even start. Not because I couldn't do the thinking - but because I couldn't find the time to sit down and organize it properly.

Strategy first. Execution second.

Instead of the other way around.

Someone asked me recently if I have "demonstrated profitability" from going AI-first.

Wrong question.

If your only measure of AI success is firing people, you're thinking too small. The real opportunity isn't replacing your team - it's elevating them.

When AI handles my initial strategy organization, my executive assistant doesn't become redundant. She becomes available for higher-level work. Same investment, double the output.

That person who was over their head trying to create strategy decks? Now they're learning advanced skills while AI handles the foundational thinking.

We're not optimizing for short-term cost savings.

We're building capacity for what's coming next.

Because once you get really efficient with AI, you'll want every talented person you can get. You'll want them leveled up, AI-capable, and ready to move fast.

But only if you've built this foundation privately.

That's why Gemini isn't just a tool choice - it's an infrastructure decision.

Your team needs to think like cyborgs when it comes to strategy and advancement. Human intuition and experience, instantly amplified by AI processing power. That's what happens when someone can dump their thoughts into Gemini and get back organized frameworks in minutes instead of weeks.

But they need to do it in an environment where your competitive advantages stay yours.

Use the other models for the flashy stuff. But make Gemini your workhorse.

Your future self will thank you.
