I almost quit, but then...

My business partner gave me THIS tough love...

From day one, I built a business around myself, with me being the center of attention. If you know me from my Jeffalytics days, you’ll know what I mean.

At first, it felt great! My life had meaning. I had a purpose. I could wake up at 6:00 AM every morning and feel excited about what the day could bring.

It was only when I tried to scale my business by hiring a team, that the wheels of my business started to break down.

The problem?

Every decision had to go through me

Every little problem had to be solved by me.

Every piece of content had to be reviewed by me

Every question from a team member had to be answered by me.

Any attempt to scale, whether it’s by hiring a new team member or implementing a new business “system”... only created MORE work for me, not less.

One day, there was SO much work that the business almost fell apart.

I was fed up. Having seen the inefficiencies and bottlenecks before I did, my team was fed up, too.

I completely broke down.

After venting about it to my Business Unfiltered Podcast partner, Chris “Mercer” Mercer, he said something very profound to me:

“Jeff, we think we are building wealthy ‘private jet’ businesses, but all we have is a few broken wagon wheels in desperate need of repair.”

Reading between the lines, Mercer was saying that although you may think you’re hiring to give yourself relief, you end up giving yourself even more work without the right system in place.

Ouch. The truth can hurt sometimes.

The good news is that I’ve rebuilt my business alongside Mercer to be more resilient using a system called the “O.P.S. Framework.”

And believe me, the solution wasn’t typical. I couldn’t just “hire an integrator” to make things work. I had to do a complete page-one rewrite.

Even better, I’m going to share the exact steps I took on a LIVE webinar this Thursday, May 16th at 1 PM EST.
