Why AI agents are quietly replacing entire teams
The 10% who master AI agents will own the future
Our AI-First Challenge just wrapped up yesterday, and honestly? I'm still processing what happened.
We had to turn people away.
200 seats sold out, standing room only, and nearly everyone showed up live each day. That never happens with online events anymore.
But it makes sense when you think about it.
People aren't just curious about AI anymore—they're desperate to figure out how to use it before they get left behind.
One attendee told me, "I feel like I'm watching my industry transform in real-time, and I either adapt or become irrelevant."
That's not hyperbole in 2025.
According to eMarketer, 54% of marketers feel "overwhelmed" by implementing AI into their workflows. Yet 92% say it's already impacted their role.
Here's the thing, though—being overwhelmed is a choice.
During our AI-First challenge, we focused on something that sounds boring but changes everything: systems for capturing and reusing your best AI results.
Most people are treating AI like a one-off tool. They craft the perfect prompt, get an amazing result... and then completely forget what worked.
The next day, they start from scratch. Again and again.
Meanwhile, the companies quietly dominating right now are building repositories of their best prompts, outputs, and workflows.
They're creating what many are calling "AI agents" – essentially, specialized AI tools that consistently perform specific tasks without needing to be retrained each time.
This isn't futuristic stuff. It's happening now.
We've already watched AI replace certain positions:
Junior developers
Content writers
Transcribers
Researchers
But that's just the warm-up act.
The real shift happens when these tools become interoperable—when your research agent can feed data to your analysis agent, which then briefs your content agent.
Suddenly, entire workflows that used to require teams can be handled by one person directing a constellation of AI tools.
And here's where it gets interesting...
The humans who can verify the quality and guide these systems will become 100X more productive than before.
Think about that.
You can accomplish what previously required 100 people, with just you and a suite of AI tools that cost maybe $100/month total.
During the challenge, we shared how we replaced a 3-person content syndication team with a chain of specialized automations. Not only is it faster, but the quality actually improved.
This isn't about "AI taking jobs."
It's about certain humans seizing the biggest opportunity in a lifetime.
The 10% who learn to orchestrate these tools effectively will create most of the value. The rest will be playing catch-up for years.
Your role is what you make it.
That was the biggest takeaway from our challenge. The people who wait for permission or clear instructions on how AI should fit into their jobs will be the first to become redundant.
The ones who experiment, build systems, and make AI their strength?
They'll be writing their own future.
That's why we're launching Profit School Pro next month—to help you be in that first group. Not waiting until 2 years from now when these changes are obvious to everyone, but positioning yourself at the forefront today.
Our next AI-First Challenge is happening in June (exact dates coming soon). Based on the response to this first one, I expect it'll fill up even faster.
If you want to be first to know when registration opens, just hit reply and say "June challenge" and I'll make sure you get priority access.
Until next Saturday,
Jeff Sauer
P.S. What's your biggest question about implementing AI agents in your workflow? Hit reply and let me know—I'm planning a deep-dive on this topic and want to address the real challenges you're facing.
